  Only surpassed by those individuals or groups who feel that they have some, perhaps 'god given?' responsibility to "let's help get them out using love, compassion, and understanding".

  Perhaps I have a feeble mind ( I hope that is not leaving me vulnerable to snide remarks), but boy, did that ever crack me up.

  You may as well treat jws as the worthless shit that they are, for anybody who is still a jw in this day and age, well and truly deserves to be. Any desire to change must be kindled from within the individual, not by some bleeding heart 'white crusader' on a self deluded mission.

  When Was The Last Time You Went To A Meeting?

  Last time in FS was November 1988. Very infrequently attended meetings for probably another twelve months until telling the elders to shove their 'truth' up their arses sometime in the early 90's (exact date is still being investigated).

  The very thought of going to a meeting chills me to the bones and turns my stomach. As has been stated previously - I would need to be either dead or in a coma to get me into one of those 'houses of depression'.

  i fail to see why people such as alice in wonderland, bane and others, are regularly singled out as tolls.

  demands are repeatedly made that they are shunned and thrown off the forum; while people like perry, who rant on with pages of controversial drivel, are considered acceptable?.

  i personaly don't view any of them as trolls, just people who feel a need to stand up for what they believe.

  Without having read any of the preceding posts, my immediate thought when reading the title was - "Why would anyone openly admit to stand up for and defend anything about jws, and thus identifying oneself as a complete and utter fool irrespective of when or where it may occur".

  mine's was, if your job interfere with the meetings you have to decide who you will choose,.

  serving jehovah or serving man, if anyone knew my needs it most definitely was jehovah.

  and he knew i needed my job to eat.

  yeah so in genesis we read how people began building a tower which would reach up to jehovah in heaven....must have been damn tall....rather then just stop them, god changes everyones language.....one guys speakin french.....another speakin russian and so on!

  can't finish the tower now can they!!

  this is not very scientific......does anyone believe this is how languages got started???

  District Conventions: The Single People/Wanna Be Married Opportunity

  as the conventions started today in my home state, i can't help but think of the hundreds of jw young people that i know who are still single, esp those over 25. it's really sad that for so many this is their only chance of finding somebody to date.

  some that i know have even crossed over into their 30's, and they go year after year, always talking about the possibility of meeting someone special.. the organization literally controls their minds, and dating and marriage to a non-jw is out of the question.

  it's so sad that so many have missed out on their life's dreams of having a family and companionship.
